Light of the globe in grace and beauty,
Mirror of God’s eternal face,

shout to God with a cry of joy.

and the nations beneath our feet.
four The LORD chooses our inheritance for us, *
the pride of the beloved Jacob.
five God has gone up with a shout, *
the LORD with the sound of the ram’s-horn.
six Sing praises to God, sing praises *
sing praises to our Sovereign, sing praises.
7 For God is Sovereign of all the earth *
sing praises with all your ability.
eight God reigns more than the nations *
God sits upon heaven’s holy throne.
9 The nobles of the peoples have gathered collectively *
with the men and women of the God of Abraham.
10 The rulers of the earth belong to God, *
and God is extremely exalted.

Psalm 48

three God is in the citadels of Zion *

eight We have waited in silence on your loving-kindness, O God, *
in the midst of your temple.
9 Your praise, like your Name, O God, reaches to the world’s finish *

count the quantity of its towers.
12 Think about effectively its bulwarks
examine its strongholds *
that you might inform these who come right after.
13 This God is our God for ever and ever *
God shall be our guide for evermore.

as it was in the starting, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.

Parable of the Sower (iconographer unknown)

Matthew 13:1-9 (NRSV)

That exact same day Jesus went out of the property and sat beside the sea. Such excellent crowds gathered about him that he got into a boat and sat there, whilst the complete crowd stood on the beach. And he told them lots of issues in parables, saying: “Listen! A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell on the path, and the birds came and ate them up. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, exactly where they did not have significantly soil, and they sprang up promptly, considering the fact that they had no depth of soil. But when the sun rose, they had been scorched and considering the fact that they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell amongst thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Canticle: The Song of Mary
Luke 1:46-55

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in you, O God my Savior, *
for you have looked with favor on your lowly servant.
From this day all generations will get in touch with me blessed: *
you, the Almighty, have carried out excellent issues for me,
and holy is your Name.
You have mercy on these who worry you *
from generation to generation.
You have shown strength with your arm, *
and scattered the proud in their conceit,
Casting down the mighty from their thrones, *
and lifting up the lowly.
You have filled the hungry with great issues, *
and sent the wealthy away empty.
You have come to the aid of your servant Israel, *
for you have remembered your guarantee of mercy,
The guarantee produced to our forebears, *
to Abraham and his young children for ever.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: *
as it was in the starting, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.

I think in God,
the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I think in Jesus Christ,
God’s only son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the energy of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered beneath Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose once again
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the appropriate hand of the Father,
and he will come once again to judge the living and the dead.
I think in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the physique,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name,
your kingdom come, your will be carried out, on earth as in heaven.
Give us right now our day-to-day bread.
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive these who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial, and provide us from evil.
For the kingdom, the energy, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen.
