two Corinthians four:7-five:five

7 We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this good treasure. This tends to make it clear that our good energy is from God, not from ourselves.

eight We are pressed on each side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never ever abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 10 Via suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus could also be observed in our bodies.

11 Yes, we reside beneath continuous danger of death for the reason that we serve Jesus, so that the life of Jesus will be evident in our dying bodies. 12 So we reside in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you.

13 But we continue to preach for the reason that we have the similar sort of faith the psalmist had when he stated, “I believed in God, so I spoke.” 14 We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself with each other with you. 15 All of this is for your advantage. And as God’s grace reaches far more and far more people today, there will be good thanksgiving, and God will get far more and far more glory.

16 That is why we never ever give up. Even though our bodies are dying, our spirits are becoming renewed each day. 17 For our present troubles are compact and will not final quite extended. However they generate for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will final forever! 18 So we do not appear at the troubles we can see now rather, we repair our gaze on factors that can not be observed. For the factors we see now will quickly be gone, but the factors we can not see will final forever.

1 For we know that when this earthly tent we reside in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly physique), we will have a residence in heaven, an eternal physique created for us by God himself and not by human hands. two We develop weary in our present bodies, and we extended to place on our heavenly bodies like new clothes. three For we will place on heavenly bodies we will not be spirits with no bodies. four Whilst we reside in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it is not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to place on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. five God himself has ready us for this, and as a assure he has provided us his Holy Spirit.
