Our daughter has a complex partnership with Halloween. On a single hand, it is her favourite day. On the other, there are costumes and masks that genuinely scare her.

For the final couple of years she has been terrified of a unique bear mask. She didn’t even like going into shops that sold it.

This year, she was determined to overcome her worry. She decided to stroll closer to it and stare at it till she was no longer afraid.

This weekend, Faith not only walked up to it, she picked it up and place it on. That might not sound like a large issue but that was a key overcoming of worry.

We are quite proud of her and that is my Fantastic News.
