“Worry not, for I have redeemed you I have named you by name, you are mine. When you pass by way of the waters, I will be with you and by way of the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you when you stroll by way of fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you” Isaiah 43:1,two
Worry not. These two words are identified in the Bible sixty-two instances.
Worry not, we are told — but what about when we get a telephone contact to inform us that our loved 1 has a terminal illness? Worry not — but what if your spouse loses his job? Worry not — but what about when you alone with no 1 to guard you?
What do you do when the waves of worry start to engulf your complete getting? How do you “Worry not?”
1st, speak to God. He will bring assurances and peace to your thoughts. Do not contact or text somebody till right after you have talked to the Almighty. Speak to Him about your worry. Ask Him what to do subsequent. He knows what has occurred, and speaking to Him will calm you down and give you His point of view. Ask Him for strength, for wisdom, for peace, for His provision, and for path. (Philippians four: 19.) Then do the subsequent issue — what ever He puts in your thoughts. Bear in mind, take 1 day at a time, and trust Him each and every step of the way.
Right here is a private instance. Whilst I was driving residence 1 dark, rainy evening, a car or truck creating a left hand turn at an intersection drove proper into the front side of my car or truck. This was my initial car or truck accident. When the car or truck ultimately came to a quit, I mentioned to the Lord, “What do I do now, Lord?” He sent a man to my car or truck who asked if I was OK. He then phoned the police and my husband and daughter. I was shocked — I was not afraid.
God sent somebody to take care of me. I was not afraid. The car or truck was a create-off, but I was not hurt.
He will take care of you, also, no matter what takes place, mainly because He loves you. Study Isaiah 43:1,two once again.
Speak to God about your fears proper now. He cares.
Father, You are an ever present enable in difficulty. You have developed us and know our tendency to worry, but You ask us to turn to You mainly because You want to enable us. Thank You for Your like, mercy, peace, and strength. Amen.
