For that is the love of God, that we hold His commandments: and His commandments should not grievous.
1 John 5:3
Probably the most prevalent concepts of the 1960s was the thought of “free love.” That idea is a lie. There’s no such factor as “free love.” Actual love is a superb and grand dedication. Actual love prices you dearly. It’s self-sacrificing. It means doing what’s greatest for the opposite particular person.
Generally a younger man who seeks his personal gratification will say to a younger lady “I really like you” as a method of getting one thing from her. Oh, he loves her all proper. He loves her like a person who loves oranges. He takes an orange, cuts a piece, squeezes the candy juice from it, wipes his mouth, then tosses it away like rubbish, and says, “Man, I really like oranges!” Let me inform you, actual love shouldn’t be that method.
Lust lives to get. Actual love lives to provide. Learn 1 Corinthians 13, and as you do, examine the world’s thought of “love” to real love.
