Nor top, nor depth, nor another creature, shall be capable of separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39
A historian tells us that after the Spanish Inquisition, Napoleon’s troopers uncovered a dungeon. They went down into the dungeon and located a skeleton with chains nonetheless on it. To their shock, they regarded on the wall and noticed a cross. On the apex of the cross, was the phrase “top.” On the foot of the cross, was the phrase “depth.” And on both facet of the cross have been the phrases “breadth” and “size.” To this prisoner, the cross was an image of the size of God’s love. God’s love is expansive and eternal.
Jesus Christ went to the Cross to display the depth and top, size and breadth of the love of God. God went to extremes to indicate His love for you. Are you able to do one thing at the moment to share with others that love of Jesus Christ?
