Monday morning comes again… Is this my Sabbath?
Is this your day with me?

When operate presses in, disturbing Holy rest…
aid me make spaces for you

When life presses in, overwhelming with busyness and tasks,
and family members, and lists,
and emails, and people today, and desires of other folks,
and desires of me…
aid me pause…. p a u s e. . . p. a. u. s. e. . . . . .

For sisters and brothers who seek holy rest now, we pray
For sisters and brothers who operate and serve now, we pray
For sisters and brothers who face challenges unforeseen now, we pray
For sisters and brothers about the globe, who wake, and operate, and speak, and move at a unique time and pace now, we pray

Valuable Holy, hear our prayers now. Amen
