He alone is my rock and my salvation He is my fortress, I will never ever be shaken. – Psalm 62:two
This verse is quick but oh my does it have so a great deal energy. There is a crucial word that is spoken right here that is a single to hold on to, the word “alone.” He alone is our rock and salvation — not our household, not our job, not our energy or ranking, but God alone. When I study this passage, the tight grip I have on the cares of life starts to loosen. Even death and life do not hold the weight they after did as I let this verse soak into my heart and thoughts.
No matter what occurs, I will be okay.
As a mother, wife and businesswoman, I can have a tendency to enable worry to creep in at instances. I really feel like if I mess up or do not function difficult adequate, the wheels could fall off. I have a firm grip on every little thing I like the most in worry of losing a thing. This, in turn, begins a unfavorable cycle that impacts the ones closest to me.
But God is great, and His promises are correct.
When I speak these words more than and more than, my soul finds peace and there is rest, and I can let go and trust Him.
Currently, ask God to reveal locations in your life that have been a false foundation and salvation for your life. Create this verse down and when worry and lies creep in, speak the truth more than your life and circumstance and let the peace of God set your soul free of charge.
