Just final year, Dr. Wiersbe mentioned, “Writing to me is a ministry. I’m not an athlete, I’m not a mechanic. I cannot do so lots of of the factors that profitable males can do. But I do not dare do that. Due to the fact I will need to belong to him, to stroll with him, and to obey him.”

Dr. Wiersbe became a Christian in his teenage years when he heard evangelist Billy Graham preach at an early Youth for Christ rally.

Dr. Wiersbe was pastor of The Moody Church in Chicago from 1971 to 1978, speaker on the national radio plan Songs in the Evening, professor of theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity College, and Bible teacher for the Back to the Bible radio plan.
