The watchword for the week:
Seek the Lord when he may possibly be identified,
get in touch with upon him when he is close to. Isaiah 55:six

Christ invites us to come and worship
To rest from the issues that are troubling us
To pray for the demands of these close us as properly as for the demands of the planet
To understand what we can provide to other people
And so to return into the planet to serve
Let us worship God.

Psalm 63:1-eight
O God, you are my God,
I seek you, my soul thirsts for you
my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land
exactly where there is no water.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your energy and glory.
For the reason that your steadfast adore is superior than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as lengthy as I reside
I will lift up my hands and get in touch with on your name.
My soul is happy as with a wealthy feast,
and my mouth praises you with joyful lips
when I assume of you on my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the evening
for you have been my assist,
and in the shadow of your wings I sing for joy.
My soul clings to you
your appropriate hand upholds me.

Confession of Sin
(from the Liturgy for Lent II in the Moravian Book of Worship, pages 78-79. Applied by permission of the Interprovincial Board of Communication)

Lord Jesus, we come prior to you in humble confession. Enable us conform our lives to you as the model for holy and righteous living.
Forgive us for our want for private greatness, for our attempts to make gods of ourselves, for our willingness to exalt ourselves at the expense of other people, and for our resistance to serving one particular a further as you have served us.
Forgive us for creating light of your obedience and sacrifice on the cross by living an undisciplined and indifferent Christian witness forgive us for yielding to worry rather than relying on your strength to take the dangers of discipleship.
Forgive us, dear Jesus, for instances we have not looked to you as our Lord, and for permitting the clamoring distractions of the planet to come to be greater priorities than you. Forgive us for yielding a lot more to the temptations of this planet than getting transformed by your lordship more than our lives.
May well the Holy Spirit empower us to accept the grace that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ provides to us right now. Hear the words of our Lord, “Your sins are forgiven, go and sin no a lot more.”
Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, considering the fact that as members of one particular physique we had been referred to as to peace. And let us be thankful.

Now is a time for the reading of a scripture passage.  If you have a copy of the Moravian Everyday Texts take time to study today’s texts now, but do not rush more than them as a job to be completed. These are the words that God would have you to cherish for this day. These are words that could transform your life if you enable them to.  So study gradually and deliberately.  Pause at words or phrases that take place to catch your spirit, for these are locations exactly where God may well be speaking to you. When you have completed with your reading of scriptures, take time to pray for the demands that you present right now, for the demands of these you adore, and for the demands of a hurting planet.  May well your time of prayer assist you to clarify exactly where God would want you to concentrate your power. When you are prepared continue with this prayer as follows:

As you taught your disciples to pray, so we pray collectively:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom come,
your will be completed,
on earth as in heaven
Give us right now our each day bread.
Forgive us our sins,
as we forgive these who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation,
but provide us from evil.
For the kingdom, the energy and the glory are yours.
Now and for ever. Amen

And now, most merciful God, we ask you to continue extending your grace and favor towards us
May well we take time each and every day to seek you with our entire heart.
Let your truth abide and be established amongst us forever.
Enable our unbelief, raise our faith, give us hearts to look at your lots of gifts to us.
In faith clothe us with Christ, that he may possibly reside in us,
And your name may possibly be glorified in us, in the sight of all the planet.
Christ, and him crucified,
Stay our confession of faith. Amen.
