Did you know that far more than ½ of the persons that will think in Jesus do so by age 12?
Did you know that by the time a kid is 9 their standard moral foundation has been formed?
Did you know that by age 13 a kid has formed their standard beliefs about the nature of God, the reliability of the Bible, the existence of an afterlife & the everlasting really like of Jesus?
These had been some staggering statistics for me to take in each as a mother and as a aspect of our Children’s ministry group right here at Faith Bible Church. We have a enormous duty prior to us that really should not be taken lightly. We have more than 250 volunteers every Sunday that are pouring truth into these small hearts and minds when they are most open to the Gospel. We are assisting to raise up a future generation of young persons that will hopefully influence their globe for Christ.
I bear in mind a couple of months back when I was volunteering in a Pre-College classroom and we had been speaking about creation and a small boy asked, “Who is God?” Wow! We have the chance to share the Gospel with some kids for the really 1st time and support them kind their really 1st thoughts about who God is. Youngsters are by no means also young to discover. Youngsters are a blessing from the Lord. God tends to make it clear in His Word the duty that we have to support teach and train these young persons.
“These commandments that I give you these days are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your kids. Speak about them when you sit at dwelling and when you stroll along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
“Start kids off on the way they really should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
Jesus stated, “Let the small kids come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Jesus loves and values kids. We are blessed to have so several kids to minister to right here at Faith. Be positive to say “Thank You” to your child’s teacher on Sunday. We could not make it by means of a Sunday without having these persons who volunteer their time to teach God’s word.
