I’ve spent the final couple of days behind the scenes at Bow the Knee. This is a major production our church (and 24 other church partners) place on each year to inform the story of Jesus. There are 300 cast and crew, 5 shows, 2500 tickets, a number of sheep, a couple of tears and a mountain of excellent stories.  I’m on Kid Crew which suggests I hang out with 4 adult mates and 34 excellent youngsters.  These little ones pour out power on stage and off.
We had two shows yesterday which translated into twelve hours of time with makeup, costumes, singing and prep.  At a single point the noise in our back stage space reached an epic level and we resorted to the secret all teachers pull out when they are all completed.   Heads up seven up.
Magic!!I consider if we’d left them there really extended all 34 of them would have been quickly asleep.  Little message to all the parents of the Bow the Knee little ones. Nicely completed. Your little ones are remarkable. Sort and difficult functioning. Committed.  Sweet.  Lively and Exciting.  Thank you for sharing them with us.
