Your Destiny | Ladies of Faith

You are God’s youngster. He saw you, picked you, and placed you. “You did not pick out me I chose you” (John 15:16 NCV). Prior to you are a butcher, baker, or cabinetmaker, male or female, Asian or black, you are God’s youngster. Replacement or fill-in? Hardly. You are His initial selection.

Such is not often the case in life. As soon as, just minutes just before I officiated a wedding, the groom leaned more than to me and mentioned, “You weren’t my initial selection.”

“I wasn’t?”

“No, the preacher I wanted couldn’t make it.”

“Oh.”

“But thanks for filling in.”

“Sure. Anytime.” I deemed signing the marriage license “Substitute.”

You will never ever hear such words from God. He chose you. The selection wasn’t obligatory, essential, compulsory, forced, or co

mpelled. He chosen you mainly because he wanted to. You are his open, willful, voluntary selection. He walked onto the auction block exactly where you stood, and he proclaimed, “This youngster is mine.” And he purchased you “with the valuable blood of Christ, as of a lamb with out blemish and with out spot” (I Peter 1:19). You are God’s youngster.

You are his youngster forever.

Do not think the tombstone. You are much more than a dash among two dates. “When this tent we reside in—our physique right here on earth—is torn down, God will have a residence in heaven for us to reside in, a residence he himself has produced, which will final forever” (two Cor. five:1 TEV). Do not get sucked into brief-term considering. Your struggles will not final forever, but you will.

God will have his Eden. He is producing a garden in which Adams and Eves will share in his likeness and adore, at peace with every other, animals, and nature. We will rule with him more than lands, cities, and nations. “If we endure, we shall also reign with Him” (two Tim. two:12).

Think this. Clutch it. Tattoo it on the interior of your heart. It may perhaps look that the calamity sucked your life out to sea, but it hasn’t. You nevertheless have your destiny.
