Anger is a regular emotional response to betrayal.  So is intense sorrow.  Grieving more than the loss of partnership, the break in fellowship, the absence of loyalty and trust is a organic spot to land.  But we cannot reside there.

Just like Jesus, dying on the cross, crying “Father forgive them for they know not what they do“, we have to release these that have hurt us from the grip of our feelings.  Forgiveness is the only way to be no cost. If God can forgive us for all of our sin against Him, who are we to withhold forgiveness from these that sin against us?
